It's that time of year again! TimberLake Lane Equestrian Centre once again wants to open its gates for a fun training show! There's no need to dress fancy, for people or horses! Get the benefits of a show without the stress of needing to be perfection. Cant wait to see yall!

Location:

All classes will take place in the Main Outdoor Arena, with the exception of Cutting, which will take place in our Outdoor Cattle Arena.

Time: First class at 8am, last class at 7pm (sunset at 8p, so show should be done before dark)

Weather: Light Showers expected from 7a-9a; scattered clouds and sunny from 9a-sunset

Due Date: April 29th, 2024 [final extension!]

FINAL EXTENSION: due to life circumstances, i did not get around to closing and judging this, so I will give it one final extension. I have a set schedule for the next four weeks, so it will be closed and judged on the morning of the 29th.

- Feel free to use the premade BG i have provided to save yourself time, or feel free to portray our arena in your own style. Making changes to my arena fencing, hedging, or other farm features makes the judge cranky, fair warning.

- Host may enter, but entries will be judged by another deviant ( tba )

- Horses must be 2+ years old to compete in riding classes

- no headshots allowed*, unless you'd like to be disqualified, then by all means, be my guest :3

- no show clothes required! Training equipment (Humane, obviously) is also allowed!

- Enter as many horses in a class as you like, as long as they all have different riders*

- Creativity is EXTREMELY encouraged. I WANT to see your spooks and oopsies!

*classes where one horse/rider are in the arena at a time (dressage, jumping, reining, etc) multiple horses may be shown by one rider. No requirement on fullbody for rider, but the less you draw the lower your score will be.

6. Multiple headshots per entry (headshot sheets) is allowed

7. If you dont see a class you want, tell me and ill add it.

Horses will have all quarter to enter classes. At the end of the quarter, placings will be counted and show titles will be awarded. There is just not enough interest to do it monthly, if interest picks up i will switch it back to monthly.. classes will run weekly, on whatever day i have off from work. Any classes that are not full will run with ghost horses. as rounds fill, additional ones will be listed so there are no more than 4 horses per round.

Horses that earn the most points will be awarded a Grand Champion Title

Horses that earn the second most points will be awarded a Reserve Grand Champion Title

Horses that earn the third most will be awarded a Honorable Mention

3 pts per 1st place, 1.5pts per second, 1pt per 3rd, and 0.5pt per 4th

Ties on titles will be broken with RNG

Each class has a $5,000 purse (not including for titles, listed below), to be handed out as follows:

After a long quiet period, TimberLake Lane Equestrian Centre once again wants to open its gates for a fun training show! There's no need to dress fancy, for people or horses! The goal is simply to create a family-like gathering of horse lovers to expose your young horses to the show environment with as little stress as possible. So load up your green beans and head on out!
